Meet the Staff

This office is part of the North Dakota State University Extension Service network which strives to provide people with reliable information based on the latest research available locally and at universities across our nation and even internationally.
- NDSU Extension Agent, Agricultural and Natural Resources

Sara joined the Bottineau County Extension Service June of 2016. She serves as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent and provides researched-based educational programming in the areas of Farm Business Management, Horticulture, Agronomy, and Animal Sciences. Sara is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and also North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education. Sara’s educational background also includes minors in Agricultural Business, Agricultural Marketing, Business, Chemistry, Equine Management, and Extension. Sara is native to South Dakota where she grew up on a family farm and raised cattle and horses. She also has serves as the 4-H Coordinator for Bottineau County.


Amanda Lorenz

- NDSU Extension Administrative Assistant
Amanda joined the Bottineau County Extension staff in January of 2012. She provides support for the county agents in all areas of the Extension program including 4-H, crops, horticulture, livestock, and family living.
