During the growing season Jim maintains the irrigation unit at Nesson Valley. He is responsible for running the 3 linear pivots and doing much of the field work. When he isn’t busy at Nesson Valley, he helps where necessary at the WREC, many times doing field work and assisting with the seed stocks program. Jim is an excellent welder and mechanic and often is busy in the shop fabricating or upgrading equipment.
