Gordon supervises and participates in design and layout of experiments, preparation of seed, land, planting, care of, and harvesting of station and off-station location trials; supervises and provides work direction to agricultural research technicians and seasonal laborers in all aspects of research; collects, records and computes agronomic meteorological and soil data; provides assistance and guidance to other staff in the use of computer software, hardware, and communications; and carries out special photographic projects to supplement research data.
