Jerry is the Director of the NDSU Williston Research Extension Center and Superintendent of the MSU Eastern Agriculture Research Center at Sidney, MT.  He coordinates the research activities of the two stations that serve 7 million crop acres.  His research includes safflower breeding, water quality, alternative cropping, management systems, sugarbeets, field beans, potatoes and other high value/value added crop research.  Jerry joined the Sidney station in 1974 and assumed the leadership of both stations in 1994.
