If you wish to enter one or more hybrids in the Hybrid Corn Performance Trials, please indicate your intention with your identification and payment by March 15st, 2006. Please, note the deadline for receiving seed and making changes is April 14, 2006. Seed received on or after April 15 will not be included in our trials. In addition, changes made on or after April 15 will not be considered.
The Corn Project Leader, M. J. Carena, Department of Plant Sciences, North Dakota State University and North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station, Fargo, ND 58105, agrees to evaluate the corn genotypes you submit for evaluation in comparison to all other entries submitted for each trial. Standard procedures for experimental design and statistical analyses will be used. The following data will be collected: Grain yield, grain moisture content at harvest, root and stalk lodging, plant population at harvest, and test weight. As stated last year in this agreement the cooperator agrees to provide accurate relative maturity (RM) of each hybrid entered following the maturity listed for each location. Incomplete and/or not clear information will not be accepted.
The data for 2005 will be published in the Hybrid Corn Performance Trial Report. Each cooperator will be provided a reasonable number of copies of the report without charge. For your information the data for 2005 was summarized on the following web address:
For future reference, data will be reported in this web address as soon as analyzed. Please contact the project leader if more information is needed.
