            The company agrees to supply 120-g seed sample/entry if an experimental and to pay a total of $ ______ (based on a $425/entry/location) evaluation charge on or before March 15, 2003 for a four-year test (seeding and three harvest years unless the stand is winter killed or damaged to such a point that meaningful data are unattainable).

 

            The Plant Sciences Department will plant, maintain, harvest, and collect data in a manner consistent with accepted alfalfa research practices as specified in the attached letter.  All forage yield data collected will be published in the Central Alfalfa Improvement Conference (CAIA) Report and at www.ag.ndsu.nodak.edu/fargo/02data/index.htm for 2002 data and 03, 04 etc. for 2003, 2004, etc. data.  Each entrant may receive at least one hard copy of all forage yield data collected upon request at dwain.meyer@ndsu.nodak.edu.  Data from these tests shall not be used in advertising to indicate North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station recommendation of any specific cultivar, and when used in advertising, should be compared with the cultivar Vernal from the same test.
