Petunia-grandiflora. Only a few grandiflora cultivars got high marks and those came at the end of the season. 'Lavender Storm' was the only one in Fargo while 'Pink Morn Storm' was the only one in Dickinson.

Petunia-Milliflora. The milliflora petunias did not perform as well in 2000 as they have in the past. In Fargo they lacked uniformity and were never as vigorous as they have been in past years but in Dickinson they did better. 'Fantasy Red', in particular, performed well all season there.

Petunia-Multiflora. The multiflora petunias in Fargo got slowed down by the heavy June rain but most rebounded nicely and were doing well by the end of the season. In Dickinson, they were also slowed by cooler than normal June temperatures but did well overall.
