Experiments with Winter Rye - 1960

In 1960 the five varieties included in the winter rye variety trials yielded well despite hot weather and lack of moisture in July. C. D. 5169 was high yielder, producing an average of 20.7 bushels per acre.

Data on the rye variety trial are summarized in Tables 31 and 32.
