Annie's Project in North Dakota

Annie’s Project was first introduced in North Dakota in 2006 and was conducted every year through 2013. During that time over 1,000 women in more than 35 counties participated in this program. The course was offered each year beginning in late January and ending in early March.  The delivery method was a combination of ND Interactive Video Network (IVN) and local presenters.

Evaluations revealed that over 90 % of the participants rated the program as being a very empowering experience and gave them the courage and knowledge to become more actively involved in the business side of their ag operation. Major sponsors of the program included: AgCountry/Farm Credit Services, North Dakota Grain Growers and Farm Service Agency. Many other business offered sponsorships and individual locations throughout the state as well.
