Paul E.R. Abrahamson Transportation Scholarship

The Paul E.R. Abrahamson Transportation Scholarship recognizes outstanding students at NDSU with an interest in the transportation and logistics of agricultural products. Funding for two $1,500 scholarships is provided by the Mountain-Plains Consortium through the University Transportation Centers program of the U.S. Department of Transportation.

klostermanJenna Klosterman is a senior in agricultural economics from Wyndmere, ND. She has been on the Dean's List for all six of her semesters at NDSU. She serves as treasurer for the Agribusiness Club. After graduation next spring, she hopes to work in agricultural marketing, finance, or sales while continuing to be involved in the family farm. She is currently working part-time as a underwriting intern with Nodak Mutual Insurance. She has previously worked and interned with Centrol Crop Consulting and the Dakota Ag Cooperative.

swansonTiffany Swanson is a senior in agricultural economics and public relations and advertising from Norwood Young America, MN. She is active in the NDSU Saddle and Sirloin Club, serving as Little International art chair and historian. She is also a member of the Post-Secondary Agriculture Students Chapter, Agriculture Communicators of Tomorrow, and Collegiate Farm Bureau. She has served as a photographer for the NDSU's student newspaper, the Spectrum, and was a Minnesota 4-H State Ambassador and a 4-H Tech Wizards Volunteer. A summer as a grain analyst intern with the South Dakota Wheat Growers gave her an appreciation of the role that transportation and logistics in crops marketing. After graduation, she hopes to work as a commodity trader.
