Nancy Hodur and Dean Bangsund submit grant to ND Petroleum Council

Dr. Nancy Hodur, Research Assistant Professor in the Agribusiness and Applied Economics Department, with Dean Bangsund, Research Scientist in Agribusiness and Applied Economics Department, has submitted a grant in the amount of $30,860.  This is submitted to the North Dakota Petroleum Council.

The title is “Contribution of the Petroleum Industry to the North Dakota Economy”

The objective of the study is to estimate the contribution of the pertroleum industry to the North Dakota Economy, measured by indicators such as employment, income, additional gross receipts in various sectors of the state economy, and revenues from selected state taxes (sales and use and personal income taxes, as well as sector-specific extraction and production taxes).
