Hodur, Bangsund submit grant proposal titled 'Socio-Economic Impact of Ashtabula I,II, and III Wind Energy Farms'

Dr. Nancy Hodur, Research Assistant Professor in Agribusiness and Applied Economics, as Principle Investigator and Dean Bangsund, Research Scientist in Agribusiness and Applied Economics, as Co-Principle Investigator, have submitted a grant proposal in the amount of $50,741.

The title of this proposal is:  “Socio-Economic Impact of Ashtabula I, II, and III Wind Energy Farms”

Objective #1 will be to examine economic and socio-economic impacts from the construction and operations of a state-of-the-art commercial wind farm.  Objective #2 will be to estimate the socio-economic and fiscal effects of Ashtabula I, II and III on the regional economy.
