Dr. Jeremy Jackson receives grant

Jackson, Jeremy

Dr. Jeremy Jackson, Assistant Professor in Agribusiness and Applied Economics Department, has received confirmation of a grant award in the amount of $5,000 from the Charles Koch Foundation.

The grant will be used to support a guest speaker series titled "Capitalism and Society".   Guest speakers will be invited to present public talks which will engage a general audience on topics of interest while communicating the importance of free markets, capitalism, economic freedom and the ethical/moral support for these ideas.  A goal of the speaker series will be to draw an audience from across the NDSU departments, area universities, and reach out to the community more broadly

Congratulations to Dr. Jackson.
