Dr. David Ripplinger submits grant to Woodland Renewables LLC

David Ripplinger

Dr. David Ripplinger, Assistant Professor in Agribusiness and Applied Economics, has submitted a grant proposal in the amount of $31,800 to Woodland Renewables LLC.

The project title is: “Ag-Based Oil Absorbent Market Study”

The Ag-Absorbent Market Research will identify the ag-residue feedstock supply curve within a 100 mile radius of Finley, North Dakota, and the demand curve for oil absorbents in the Northern Plains.

Regional absorbent demand will be determined by targeting and segmenting regional industries, investigating existing products and price points, and identifying the price for ag-based absorbents (based on product attributes).
