Dr. Saleem Shaik receives the D. K. Desai Prize for research paper

Dr. Saleem Shaik

Dr. Saleem Shaik, Associate Professor in Agribusiness and Applied Economics Department at North Dakota State University, has been awarded the D. K. Desai Prize by the Indian Society of Agricultural Economics, Mumbai, India.

This award is for the best research paper among articles published in the regular issues of the Indian Journal of Agricultural Economics in the year 2013.  The announcement of the Prize Award was made at the Seventy Fourth Annual General Meeting of the Society held at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University, Aurangabad on December 20, 2014.

The title of the paper is: “Did Crop Insurance Programmes Change the Systematic Yield Risk?”
