Dr. Ripplinger submits two grant proposals

David Ripplinger
Dr. David Ripplinger, Assistant Professor in Agribusiness and Applied Economics Department, North Dakota State University, has submitted two grant proposals.

#1. This was submitted to North Dakota State University Development Fund in the amount of $20,000. The title is “Crude Oil Price Transmission”  The objective of this research is to investigate and quantify the impacts of changes in crude oil and rank gasoline prices on agricultural commodity price, production and trade and its implication on farmer’s income in North Dakota.

#2.  This was submitted to the North Dakota State University Development in the amount of $20,000.  The title is “The Economic Analysis of Wheat Production in North Dakota”  This data will be used to conduct an econometric analysis to identify significant factors that impact yield and to identify recommendations.  The research project analysis investigates the reasons for increasing input cost of wheat production and scope for improving the efficiency.
