How Do I Insert an Image on My Page?

This lesson shows the recommended way of adding them to the Images folder and then placing them in a page.

If you don't already have an image to use, check out these free resources

If you have many images/files to upload, it's a good idea to check out the Quick Upload Portlet. The following instructions are for when you have just one image to upload.

Click the Browse button to navigate your computer's files to select the file to upload. Then click the Save button to get that file into the Ag CMS Images folder.

Image Size, Captions and Alignment

Description and Caption: If you are going to use a caption, enter something in the Description field and check the Caption box.

Alignment: The choices are Left, Inline, Right. Most often you will choose either Left or Right. This will put the picture on the left-side of the text or the right-side of the text.

Size: measured in pixels, Ag CMS will give you several resized images to choose from, along with the original. You can also drag the corners of the image to adjust the size. Please note, do not stretch or try to make the image larger than the original because the quality will decrease.
