New Digital Press Provides Vibrant Colors, Glossy Photos

Print and Copy Services has a new full-color digital press that can produce vibrant colors and glossy photos. The new machine provides higher quality color work but at the same low price and the same quick turnaround.

Print and Copy Services is one of the first in the state to have this new technology that reduces cracking and streaking, which was a problem with earlier digital color printers.

The new color machine is being used for NDSU business cards, and it can print projects up to 11X17 inches, including full bleeds. Though you can’t get the full effect online, “Barley Grain and Forage for Beef Cattle” by Vern Anderson, Greg Lardy, Marc Bauer, Kendall Swanson and Steve Zwinger was one of the first Ag publications to be designed for and printed on the new digital press.

Camera-ready jobs can be submitted online through Digital Storefront. County Extension offices that don’t have NDSU account numbers can get their code from Joan Opp if they’ve misplaced it. Completed jobs can be shipped to off-campus offices.

Check out the Print and Copy Services website for more information about printing and copying options.
