Editing Images: Get the Right Size and Red Eyes Out

You don't need to have PhotoShop or be a graphic designer to make simple edits to your photos. If you have a Microsoft Windows machine, you can:

  • Auto Correct - Microsoft will make color and brightness adjustments for you.
  • Edit:
    • adjust brightness, contrast and color
    • crop
    • rotate and flip
    • remove red eye
    • change picture size by resizing or compressing

To make changes to your image, right click on the image and choose "Open With." Open the image with Microsoft Office 2010 or Microsoft Picture Manager (older).

From there, you can choose to auto correct or edit the image:

Use Microsoft Office or Picture Manager to edit photos. It's easy!
