Add Creative Commons Info to Public Materials

NDSU is carrying out the land-grant mission by using a Creative Commons license on Ag CMS websites and publications. The Creative Commons license used by Agriculture and University Extensionmeans no longer are people asked to request permission to use our information.

Please use the same Creative Commons license on handouts and websites you develop. In small type at the bottom of the last printed page or bottom of each Web page include:

NDSU encourages you to use and share this content, but please do so under the conditions of our Creative Commons license. You may copy, distribute, transmit and adapt this work as long as you give full attribution, don’t use the work for commercial purposes and share your resulting work similarly. For more information, visit www.ag.ndsu.edu/agcomm/creative-commons.

Also include the current NDSU nondiscrimination statement, an NDSU logo and the date.

The nondiscrimination statement is a legal requirement, the Creative Commons license simplifies getting our information out to others, an NDSU logo markets our team and a date helps customers know if the information is current.
