Temple Grandin to Visit NDSU

Temple Grandin is coming to NDSU!

Temple Grandin, Professor of Animal Science, Colorado State University will present “Different . . . Not Less” on Friday, January 25, at 1:30 p.m. in the Memorial Union Ballroom. An open reception will follow the presentation at 2:30 p.m.

Dr. Grandin is widely known for her innovations in livestock handling and is an advocate for people with autism. Her inspiring accomplishments are chronicled in the award winning film Temple Grandin which will be shown Thursday, January 24, at 7:00 p.m. in Sudro Room 24. Both the movie and the presentation on Friday are free and open to the public.

In addition to the above activities, Dr. Grandin will meet with Animal Sciences personnel on Friday as follows:
9:00 a.m. Faculty interaction, Hultz Hall 104

10:00 a.m. Seminar with undergraduate students, Shepperd Arena
Preliminary topic – Working in the Livestock Industry

11:15 a.m. Graduate student interaction, Hultz Hall 104

For those of you coming to campus for Temple Grandin's seminar tomorrow: We have been informed that there will be additional parking available in the T Lot on the south side of campus. Parking will also be available in the FargoDome Parking Lot. Please refer to the campus map below.
