Why did you choose NDSU? I chose NDSU as I found it to be a great atmosphere when I toured, and the ag department is the best in the state. My family also has traditionally graduated from NDSU, and if you’ve ever met my mom you would also know her subtle gestures pushing us towards NDSU.

Why did you select the College of Agriculture, Food Systems, and Natural Resources? I chose this college because I have grown up surrounded by agriculture my entire life and I will hopefully be around agriculture for the rest of my life.

Scholarships you have received and what it’s meant to you: I have received multiple scholarships from NDSU and outside including FCS of Mandan and others. Scholarships are very beneficial as they allow you to focus more on your school as you’re going through college.

Clubs/organizations you’re involved in and why involvement in activities is beneficial: I have been involved with many clubs throughout campus including Saddle and Sirloin, Ag Ambassadors and Agribusiness Club as well as numerous intramural sports. These all help me become more involved around campus and develop relationships with fellow students.

List any internships and a brief description of what you did: I have interned twice with BASF as a chemical rep. I met with retailers and developed relationships with customers along with walking claims of our chemical.

What is your greatest memory at NDSU? My greatest memories of NDSU would have to be hanging out with all the friends I have met.

What are your future plans? My future plans would be to work as a chemical rep in my home territory of southwest ND as well as farm on our family farm.
