Flick Your Photos onto Flickr
Ag Communication wants to build a photo library that we (Ag Comm and Ag colleagues) can use for future printed materials, websites and other uses. Ag Communication has chosen Flickr as the online location for such a library. All you have to do is get a Flickr account, upload your great photos, add descriptions and tags, and then join the NDSU Ag Communication group.
Go to the NDSU Ag Communication Flickr Group to see what others have already submitted. To start adding your work, follow the instructions on the Ag Comm Training and Tutorials page.
You’re welcome to add any kind of work-related photos. In order to help build the library, we’ll ask for some specific topics each month in Let’s Communicate. This month, we’ve been asked for photos of damage to agricultural commodities, animals, plants and agricultural structures like barns, sheds, roads, irrigation systems and fences from disasters (floods, hail, windstorms, drought, etc.).
So if you’re an ag economist who needs a photo of a canola field, hopefully an agronomist has added one to the Flickr group. Or if you’re an FCS agent who needs a photo of canning jelly, hopefully another agent will contribute. Thanks for contributing photos to share.
