Family Consumer Science Extension Agent

On July 1, 2008 Mary began her career with the NDSU Williams County Extension Service as the Family Consumer Science Agent. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in home economics and emphasis in food and nutrition and vocational programs.  Mary began her professional career as a family and consumer science teacher in the Fort Yates Public School System before moving to Williston. She spent  27 years at American State Bank and Trust Company where she held various positions over the years.

Mary provides research-based subject information on financial management, home environment, food safety and nutrition, and family science.     She also focuses on 4-H programs, which include life skill development and youth leadership.
