The Parent Resource Center is here to help you parent young or not-so-young children, recover from a divorce or separation, or cope with day to day challenges family life may bring. Central Dakota Parent Resource Center provides educational opportunities and resources to the citizens of Bottineau, Burke, McHenry, Mountrail, Pierce, Renville and Ward Counties.

*All classes are FREE (except for Parents Forever) and funded by the Department of Human Services, Children & Family Services Division, Child Protection Program. Classes are presented by the NDSU Extension Parent Resource Center.

Take & Learn Bags (Topic Bags)
Each bag contains materials for preschool, middle school, teens (where appropriate) parents, caregivers, counselors, service providers & teachers. All children’s materials are intended to be read together with the parent or guardian. Topics include:
- ADD/ADHD

- Anger in Children
- Divorce
- Sex Education & Body Safety
- Sleep Issues : Infant-Teen
- Toilet Training
- Long Distance Parenting (work, deployments & other separation)
The topic bags are available for check out. Please handle the contents with care and return the bag with all resources to your county office in a timely manner. An inventory list is in each binder to help make sure everything is included.

Resources featured on the website include the 311 Prenatal Hotline, Insure Kids Now, Family-to-Family Health Information Centers, Text 4 Baby, Find a Health Center Locator and the Maternal and Child Health Program.
