This fall the annual EFNEP and FNP confernece provided a reason to celebrate.....the NDSU staff provided great IMPACTS for citizens of the state and the state programs as a whole met their fiscal goals. I want to thank each and every county agent who provided time and effort toward their local programs. Clearly, we made progress. I can only hope that these efforts around the state will catch on in more counties in the year ahead. As the program year came to an end on 9-30-09, it appeared that we were on target to meet our in-kind goals for the FNP program. We are also pleased to note the addition of tribal programming due to a new opportunity to obtain match at a 75-25 rate, rather than the 50-50 rate used in counties. As for EFNEP, the graduation rate goals were discussed and we hope that the 09-10 program year will find them with the same progress made for their program! Thank you for all you do.
