You Can Invest in RLND

Leadership Is Important

Three essential components have been identified as critical to North Dakota's potential as a vibrant, prosperous place to live and work:

  • A diverse, resilient economy
  • An effective, efficient infrastructure
  • Effective leadership in communities, regions and statewide

Rural Leadership North Dakota - Building and Supporting Leaders

Many thriving communities in North Dakota can credit their successes to strong leaders with a sincere passion in the initial stages of their community and development work.  Rural Leadership North Dakota (RLND) is a program, established in 2003, to ensure the state has innovative and effective leaders to guide North Dakota into the future.

Investing in North Dakota's Future

The full cost per participant is approximately $11,000 for the two-year program.  The program includes 10 seminars throughout the state and a six-day study tour to Washington, D.C.  Participant expenses include participants' lodging and meals, transportation, speaker fees and travel costs, meeting facility rental and materials.

Your support is critical to the mission of Rural Leadership North Dakota.
