Research Interest:
Plant systematics and plant (range) ecology.
The floristics of the U.S. Great Plains, with emphasis on the northern Great Plains.
Rotational grazing systems, leafy spurge control, range fertilization and grassland community composition and production.

RNG 450/650 - Range Plants
RNG 716 - Agrostology
RNG 717 -Aquatic Vascular Plants

Extension Responsibilities:
Organize Ekre Grassland Preserve/ARS Field Day.
Participate regularly in Central Grasslands research days.
Participate in various range management workshops.

Extracurricular Activities Advised:
