4-H Trunks Available for Check-out

Over the past years Williams County 4-H has been fortunate to be able to obtain some grant funding to help develop several teaching trunks that can be checked out and used by 4-H clubs, members, leaders, and families. Please make plans to use these trunks to enhance and strengthen your 4-H experiences. To reserve these trunks, please call the Extension office at 701-577-4595.

      Here are the trunks available from the Williams County Extension Office:

Quilting and Sewing Trunk

Williams County 4-H received some grant money from the Mountrail-Williams Electric Round-up Funds to put together a sewing and quilting trunk. This trunk can be checked out and used for working on quilting and sewing projects. The trunk includes sewing machines, sergers, all kinds of quilting and sewing supplies, and lots of other tools to make your sewing and quilting experiences much easier.

Scrapbooking Trunk

North Dakota 4-H put together two Scrapbooking Trunks for 4-H clubs to check out and use to develop their Scrapbooking skills. One of these trunks is housed in the Williams County Extension Office. Remember this is a trunk that can be used state wide, so be sure and reserve it early if you are interested.

Leather Craft Trunk

This trunk contains leather crafting tools and instructions for decorating and assembling a billfold, key case, belt, purse and other items.

GPS Trunk

This trunk contains Garmin Etrex Legend GPS units, laminated scavenger hunt activity sheets and a GPS PowerPoint presentation. Become familiar with how GPS works and what it is used for.

Lego Trunk

This trunk includes several Lego Crazy Action Contraptions Invention Books and instructions and lots of Lego pieces to complete several Lego projects. This trunk is recommended for ages 7 and up. Loads of fun!!!!

Robotics Trunk

This trunk includes two Mind Storm Lego kits and instructions for programming your lego battery operated machine.

Professor Franklin’s Photo T-Shirt Software

This trunk includes Professor Franklin’s software (on CD) for creating iron on t-shirts. Kids will need to supply their own clean, white, cotton t-shirts. You will also need to purchase transfer paper.

 Camera Trunk

Three digital cameras, docking stations, with attachments for putting your photos on your computer.  HP photo printer.  You will need to supply photo paper for printing.
