Education for Families in Divorce Transition

The goal of this program is to benefit children whose parents are divorcing by working directly with the parents in an educational setting. Parents will participate in a four-hour workshop that includes:

• Divorce as warfare
• Children's reaction to divorce based on their developmental level
• Helpful behavior from parents that will assist children in transition
• Effective communication with children
• Helping and allowing children to grieve
• Co-parenting
• Effective communication with ex-spouse
• Positive parent-child relationships

Cost of the workshop is $55.00

Class dates are:

• September 20, 2011
• November 17, 2011
• February 16, 2012
• April 12, 2012
