Lori has worked for the Extension Service since 1984, first in Agricultural Economics and moving to the Director's Office in 1987. She provides administrative support, including administering operating funds allocated to the Director's Office, and serves as a member of and support  for the Extension Leadership Team. She is heavily involved in the personnel recruitment process for the Extension Service and recently developed an extensive guidebook on the recruitment process. One of her strengths is  her understanding of the complex federal, state and institutional parameters involved in her job, along with her in-depth knowledge of Extension and NDSU policies. She has made major contributions to support staff training efforts and has been responsible for management of many meetings and workshops.
