Gail brought her sunny personality and strong work  ethic to Agriculture Communication as departmental secretary in 1991. She had previously worked on campus in Agricultural Economics, the College of Science and Humanities, and the Computer Center. She handles office administration and paperwork for a large, varied and physically dispersed staff, using her thorough understanding of the department and the university to take care of the details that keep things running smoothly. Gail has a sincere dedication to helping colleagues and clients, whether she is  handling the department's equipment check-out pool or fielding the many  and sometimes bewildering questions that a communication unit receives. She does volunteer work in the community and is always willing to extend extra effort in her department, including service on a department-wide planning team.
