Kathy is the social services director for Cass County. She previously was with Southeast Human Service Center, St. Ansgar Hospital and the North Dakota State Hospital. A long-time supporter of extension work, she helped carry out Extension programs as a presenter in meetings and workshops nearly 20 years ago. More recently she served as a member of   the Cass County Extension Service Task Force, a group that conducted an extensive review of the current county program and made recommendations for future efforts. She has supported the creation and continued support of the Parenting Resource Center as well as many other projects in the region. She serves on the Region Five Children's Services Coordinating Committee, coordinated the local Community Response Committee that addressed the needs of families and individuals impacted by the winter blizzards and spring flooding of 1997, and is active in community roles.
