Accomplishments and Contributions:

Terry has been the Towner county agent for over 25 years. He has been responsive to his counties educational needs in a many ways as a member of several boards including the city council of Cando. Terry has an Excellent AG alert newsletter that is printed over twenty times a season including special additions. Terry contributions to this weekly effort are extensive and cover anticipated crop production problems as well as updating evolving agricultural issues. It is distributed via e-mail and postal mail to subscribers throughout Towner County.

Terry was very involved in the extensive educational program combating the Fusarium head blight and orange blossom wheat midge problems in mid nineties and continues currently by participating in annual surveys for the midge and development of FHB during the summer season. He is involved with the planning and conducting the Lake Region Extension Roundup along with other members of Unit three. Terry presents an information topic each Roundup as well as serving as an emcee for one of the sessions.

Terry is always willing to participate in unit activities and volunteers his talents in sponsoring unit efforts on a regular basis.
