Accomplishments and Contributions:

Duane is the current director of the NDSU Extension Service. As director, his first thought is for the employees of the system. He is dedicated to making the organization a place where staff can grow and be successful. He is dedicated to the mission of NDSU Extension and in providing the resources needed. He is committed to the advancement of quality extension work. He has taken a proactive approach to working with federal and state partners in efforts to increase funding and creating support for extension programs. In the past Duane was co-chair of a state effort in biotechnology training for extension and campus staff plus currently serves on the governor= s committee for value added agriculture and on a Regional task force in bio-energy. Duane has also served as chair of the North Central Regional Directors group.
