Alice has been secretary/administrative assistant since September, 1998.

(Describe the candidate's significant accomplishments as an Extension worker or contributions as a Friend of Extension.)

Alice supports the effort of state and county programs in her role as secretary/administrative assistant in the Center for 4-H Youth Development and the North Dakota 4-H Foundation. She has a key role in preparation for educational events throughout the year and is ready to help with any new project that comes along. She provides a consistent and positive approach to each program and event.

Alice assists in the coordination of national 4-H award trips and schedules. She does everything from making travel arrangements to planning each 4-H member schedule and ensures North Dakota meets all of the important trip deadlines.

Alice prepares 4-H Foundation reports in an efficient friendly manner to support the effort of county programming by processing the necessary paperwork and issuing checks in a timely manner to county programs earning rebates, or attending national events such as trips for judging teams, volunteer forums and other special educational programs.

Alice is an important part of 4-H preparations for the North Dakota State Fair, North Dakota Winter Show, and judging contests. She has supported the efforts of Cooperative Curriculum System work by proof reading several new and revised curriculums.

The best part � Alice always approaches her job with enthusiasm and greets all visitors and phone callers in a friendly, positive manner. Her energy and active lifestyle are an inspiration. Currently, she is coordinator of our Center �walking team� for the HD&E Dean�s walking challenge. Alice is a joy to work with and a great ambassador for 4-H and Extension work in North Dakota.
