Edwin is a retired farmer from Max, N.D., who has also been involved in banking, insurance and real estate. He has been a supporter of Extension Service programs, especially 4_H, for most of his life. Edwin provided strong support for 4_H activities at the North Dakota State Fair in its early years by serving as superintendent for the static exhibits. He served on the fair*s board of directors for 24 years and chaired the board for 12 years. In McLean County he served as a 4_H leader for 20 years. He served on the planning committee and chaired the building committee for the Western 4_H Camp. He has been in public service throughout his adult life, serving on many local, county and state boards and councils.
