Communicator of the Year Award
Sponsored by the NDSU
Agriculture Communication Department and the
North Dakota Chapter of the Association for Communication
Excellence
The Communicator
of the Year Award is designed to recognize an individual who has
displayed exceptional expertise and professionalism in
delivering educational programs and information to the public.
Selection criteria includes media/materials preparation and
delivery, preferably using several types of media.
North Dakota ACE members and faculty/staff
from the agriculture communication department nominate and vote
for the candidate of their choice. These communication
professionals feel fortunate to work with such talented
colleagues from subject matter areas. This award allows them the
opportunity to pay tribute to one of those subject matter
experts.
The recipient receives a plaque at a
luncheon in his/her honor. The recipient's name is added to the
Communicator of the Year plaque in the main office of the
agriculture communication department. The awards luncheon is
scheduled late fall of each year.
