Soybean Seed Depth is Critical
Do not plant soybean deeper than two inches. Poor stands will result. Depth control is difficult in dryer seedbeds. Soybean needs a higher moisture seedbed to germinate well. 150,000 soybeans plants/A is nine seeds per foot of row in 30 inch rows, 6 per foot in 20 inch rows, 4 per foot in 15 inch rows or 2 per foot in 7 inch rows.
