2) Average yields of Carneval 62 bu/a (4204 kg/ha) over 64 site-years
3) Disease ratings provided by Dr. Allan Zue, Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, Morden. VG = Very Good; G = Good; F = Fair; P = Poor; VP = Very Poor
4) Varieties which show good disease tolerance to one strain of Fusarium wilt may be susceptible to other strains
5) N = Normal; SL = Semi-leafless; T = Tare (reduced leaves)
6) VE = Very Early; E = Early; M = Medium; L = Late. On long-term average, M is approximately 95 days, but actual maturity will vary widely depending on growing season conditions.
7) S = Short; M = Medium; T = Tall. M is approximately 33 in., but varies widely depending on growing season conditions.
8) S = Small; M = Medium; L = Large; VL = Very Large. M is approximately 220 g/1000 seeds, but can vary considerably depending on growing season conditions.
