Summary of Disease Control
Flax disease may be controlled or reduced by the following steps:
1. Grow resistant varieties.
2. Always rotate flax with other crops.
3. Select sound and disease-free seed.
4. Treat seed with a suitable fungicide.
5. Sow early and follow good cultural practices.
6. For seed treatment or control of diseases with fungicides see state extension plant
disease control recommendations published annually.
