I received my Ph.D. in 2001from the Department of Plant Pathology at NDSU. I am an adjunct professor within the Department of Plant Pathology as well as a Research Scientist for the USDA-ARS in the Cereal Crops Research Unit where I work primarily on foliar diseases of wheat and barley.  Our lab is working on various aspects of net blotch of barley and Stagonospora nodorum blotch of wheat with emphasis on the genetics of pathogen virulence and host resistance of each disease.
