Friskop PhD Student Major advisor(s): Dr. Tom Gulya and Dr. Samuel Markell Andrew is a native of Hankinson, North Dakota. He obtained his undergraduate degree from NDSU in Crop and Weed Science. Puri PhD Student Major
advisor: Dr. Shaobin Zhong Puri is a native of Ayodhyapuri-6, Chitwan, Nepal. He joined the Department of Plant Pathology at North Dakota State University as a PhD student in May 2008 and is currently working under the supervision of Dr. Shaobin Zhong. His research projects include Fusarium Head Blight of Wheat for host resistance and pathogen biology. He completed his master’s degree (MS) from Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS), Tribhuvan University, Nepal, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sundar Man Shrestha in 2006 with research entitled “Resistance and susceptible interaction of different rice lines against leaf and neck blast (Pyricularia grisea sacc.)”. Kurt Rudolph PhD Student Major
