Make a Payment

Fees apply for services provided by the NDSU Plant Diagnostic Lab. Routine diagnosis (including identification requests) typically range from $15 to $35. See Services and Fees for details. If you are concerned about payment, please call ahead before submitting a sample. Pre-payment is not necessary. Instead, invoices are sent by mail or by e-mail, along with formal reports. Payments can be made by check and mailed to the lab or they can be submitted to our on-line store. When paying by check, please Make Checks Payable To: NDSU Plant Diagnostic Lab and include the sample number on the memo line.

On-line Payment Option

For your convenience, payments can be made online for services provided by the NDSU Plant Diagnostic Lab. On-line payments are secure and they use the NDSU MarketPlace platform. Web-check, Discover, VISA, and MasterCard are accepted on-line.

To make an online payment, you must have an email address. You must also know your sample number, which is found near the upper right corner of the formal lab report and invoice generated by the NDSU Plant Diagnostic Lab.
