N.D. State Fair 4-H Horse Show Winners Named
The following 4-H members won awards in the horse show July 23-25 at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot. Winners are listed below by county, name, hometown, age division, class and placing.
Barnes
- Layne Larson, Marion, 12- to 14-year-old division - champion Western Horsemanship, tie for Champion Trail, Amanda Ebensteiner Memorial Award - presented annually to the 4-H Western Horsemanship champion in the 12- to 14-year-old division at the North Dakota State Fair. A member of the Ramsey Riders 4-H Club in Devils Lake, Ebensteiner’s first love was horses. She died of cancer in 1997.
