4-H’ers Win Awards in Beef Show at N.D State Fair

4-H’ers take home awards from the beef show at the North Dakota State Fair.

The 4-H beef show was Thursday, July 26, at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot.

The following 4-H members won champion or reserve champion awards. Winners are listed by county with name, hometown and placing.

Bottineau

  • Everett Brandvold, Bottineau - champion Southdown Heifer

Burleigh

  • Taylor Heins, Wing – reserve champion Market Steer
  • Derrek Heins, Wing – champion Intermediate (12- to 14-year-olds) Showman
