4-H Horse Judging Contest Held at State Fair

Individual and teams placed in this year’s 4-H horse judging competition at the North Dakota State Fair.

The 4-H horse judging contest was held at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot on Tuesday, July 24.

This year, the 4-H’ers judged classes of horses on conformation and structural correctness, plus performance classes in western pleasure, hunter under saddle and reining. The youth also presented oral reasons to judges to defend their placings in three of the classes.

Individual and team winners are listed by county with name and placing.
