4-H Members Receive Awards for Rabbits at the 2008 N.D. State Fair

North Dakota 4-H’ers bring home awards from the rabbit competition at the State Fair.

The 4-H rabbit show drew statewide participation at the 2008 North Dakota State Fair in Minot on Wednesday, July 23. Winners are listed by county with name, hometown, placing and category.

Bottineau

  • Heidi Barnick, Bottineau, champion Dutch Rabbit and reserve champion Overall Rabbit – best of show

Burke

  • Colton Maruskie, Battleview, reserve champion Mini Lop Rabbit
  • Keegan Maruskie, Battleview, champion and reserve champion Mini Rex Rabbit, champion Overall Rabbit – best of show and champion Junior Showmanship
  • Sadie Maruskie, Battleview, champion and reserve champion Polish Rabbit and reserve champion Junior Showmanship

Burleigh

  • Matthew Olson, Baldwin, champion Satin Rabbit, champion Market Rabbit and champion Senior Showmanship

Grand Forks

  • Cassidy Sandstrom, Emerado, reserve champion Holland Lop Rabbit, and champion and reserve champion Netherland Dwarf Rabbit
