Are you concerned about the financial impacts and tax consequences of your transition plan? What are the best tools/strategies available to create this plan? You can get answers to these questions at an upcoming farm/ranch transition planning program sponsored by the NDSU Extension Service.
Course topics include:
February 9 - Dr. Gary Goreham: Getting started and the importance of communication.
February 16 - Andy Zenk, JD: Farm Business Arrangements - pros and cons of different types of business organizations for farmers in North Dakota.
February 23 - Andy Zenk, JD: Farm/Ranch Succession Planning - tax and economic consequences of asset transfer strategies.
All sessions will be held from 6:15 pm to 9:30 pm. Sessions will be held at the Memorial Building, 18 2nd Ave SW, Stanley, ND
