NDSU Livestock Environmental Management

ND Manure Sampling Program

The NDSU Livestock Environmental Management program focuses on research and education to broaden the knowledge base of farmers, ranchers and the general public on environmental management of livestock facilities. The purpose is to ensure the continued growth of a strong and sustainable livestock industry in North Dakota and the Upper Great Plains.

The Livestock Environmental Management team continually develops resources related to water/air quality impacts of livestock facilities, manure management and innovative livestock management systems. This site is a tool to share such resources with you. Enjoy, and please contact us if you have any questions.
